Mauro Zarate could walk out of Lazio for nothing - putting Arsenal on alert - according to the Argentina striker's agent.[LNB] Former Birmingham striker Zarate has been at loggerheads with his bosses at the Olympic Stadium and is threatening to follow Goran Pandev's example of ripping up his contract.[LNB] Warning: Mauro Zarate[LNB] Pandev, rated at £15million, was allowed to join Inter Milan on a free last month after a tribunal found his contract had been breached because of the way he was frozen out of the team.[LNB] And Zarate, who has previously been linked to the Gunners, Liverpool and Manchester City, is fed up of being criticised and left on the bench.[LNB] Lazio boss Edy Reja said the 22-year-old 'doesn't pass the ball much and needs to work for the team'.[LNB] But his brother and agent Sergio snapped responded: 'It is because he is so individualistic that Zarate has scored 30 goals in Italy, so I think he should be left in peace.[LNB] 'I don't think Reja knows him yet and when he understands the quality of the player, he'll take all this back and will always put him in the starting XI.[LNB] 'If Lazio feel that they do not need him, then that is very simple. We just need the coach to tell president Claudio Lotito and get him to rescind the contract.[LNB] 'Mauro would love to stay at Lazio and respect his commitment to the club, as he is happy here.'[LNB] Whether on a free or not, Zarate is widely expected to leave Lazio in the summer.
