According to Arsenal Media Watch, the two teams are watching on Talisca's performances in the Primeira as the Brazillian started his Benfica adventures with six goals in seven games, including a hat-trick in an away win at Setubal.

Bahia's newest discovery has earned a move to Portugal after just one senior season at his childhood club. Talisca, who is also an active member of the Brazil u20 squad, scored on four occasions in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

The attacking midfielder, who can also act a striker, has been transferred to Lisbon in early July for four million euros, the highest ever fee for a Bahia player. Whoever made the decision to sign him was right from the first minute.

Benfica's no. 30 is leading the top goalscorers list, leaving stars like Jackson Martinez and Islam Slimani below his name. Should Dunga start to consider promoting the lad to a higher level of international football?

Someone else is also considering of bringing the 20-year-old to their team. Both title contenders, the Gunners and the Reds, have apparently been interested in Talisca for a short time now.

To achieve an agreement with his current club, the interested ones will be obligated to pay at least 18 million pounds, the price of a buy-out clause which was agreed at Estadio da Luz while the contract was signed. Taking his age under consideration, the expensive transfer would be profitable for both English parties and the money spent could even triple in the coming years.
