AS Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani is set to disappoint a number of potential bidders by staying at the Stadio Olimpico next season. The 23-year-old is reported to be on the wanted lists of Internazionale, Arsenal and Juventus, but Aquilani's agent, Franco Zavaglia, believes his client will stay put. He said: "After the European Championships I believe Aquilani will renew his contract with Roma. He grew up there and he really wants to stay there. "Recently, there have been things reported which have annoyed him, so in these situations it's always wise to speak little and not give too much away to the media." Meanwhile, rumours that the Gunners are preparing a bid for Spain defender Raul Albiol have also been rubbished. The versatile 22-year-old currently plays his club football for Valencia and his representative, Manuel Garcia Quilon, says that Albiol is more than happy to stay at the Mestalla. He told AS: "Nobody has called me from Arsenal. Raul is fully focussed on the European Championships and is very happy at Valencia."
