Andrey Arshavin is ready to take out his frustration on Tottenham Hotspur - the team he nearly joined last year.[LNB]The 'upset' Arsenal star is desperate to make up for throwing away points against West Ham United and AZ Alkmaar.[LNB]And he sees no better time to be going into his first north London derby, with Spurs heading for the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.[LNB] Determined: Andrey Arshavin wants to show Arsenal can be ruthless[LNB]'For us this is the most important derby and we know it,' said the Russia forward. 'I found out about the importance of these matches almost immediately after I signed for Arsenal.[LNB]'People who work for the club told me about it and about the most memorable clashes with Spurs. [LNB]Collapse: Arshavin battles AZ Alkmaar's Moussa Dembele on the way to a 1-1 draw in Holland[LNB]'They told me that after some defeats they couldn't even speak to each other for a long time.'[LNB]Arshavin revealed last week that he would have been happy to join Tottenham when they tried to sign him from Zenit St Petersburg in August last year.[LNB]But now his only concern is arresting Arsenal's worrying run of turning wins into draws.[LNB]The Gunners conceded late in Alkmaar last week to draw 1-1 after controlling the game. And they dropped a two-goal lead against West Ham United on Sunday to come away with just a point.[LNB]The 28-year-old admitted the players were gutted by the West Ham capitulation.[LNB]'Not only me, all the team are unhappy about it,' he said. 'We got what we deserved with our performance.[LNB]'We are very upset indeed. Such results do not add positive emotions to the players, the manager or our fans.[LNB] Drawing frustration: Alessandro Diamanti (centre) celebrates West Ham's equaliser against Arsenal on Sunday[LNB] [LNB]'The West Ham game turned out to be almost a copy of what happened against Alkmaar. [LNB]'Initially we easily got an advantage - this time we were 2-0 up and then we allowed West Ham to equalise from set-pieces. [LNB]'If we had won on Sunday, we would now be very close to Chelsea in the table.'[LNB]Arsenal are expected to field an unexperienced side when they host Liverpool in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night before returning to full strength at the weekend.[LNB] Andrey Arshavin: I'd have loved Spurs move and Arsenal are no Barcelona!Spurs boss Redknapp admits he LOVES watching rivals ArsenalArsenal ace Cesc Fabregas insists: Our rivals are under more pressure than us to win the titleLiverpool target Ananidze but Spartak Moscow insist teenager is not for saleTop four's drop in quality leaves the Premier League wide openARSENAL FC
