Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva says the Premiership clash with
Liverpool on Tuesday could prove to be crucial to the
Gunners' prospects this season.
The Brazilian's late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Bolton at the weekend left the Gunners four points adrift of fourth-placed Spurs with a game in hand, but that is a tough trip to Anfield.
Gilberto said: "We have to stay determined now and continue to play the same way, when you come into the games we have to show what we want to do.
"We have shown a high spirit and solidarity with each other against Bolton, that makes the team strong, especially mentally.
"If you are strong mentally, you can help your team-mates focus. Sometimes things do not work out as you plan, but if you are strong mentally, you can push yourself more.
"Tuesday will be very important now for us, because we are both fighting for that Champions League position.
"Liverpool are in front of us and we want to get the points there. That would make a big difference for us."
