Ajax starlet Eriksen fears he's too young to make switch to Arsenal

Arsenal target Christian Eriksen has snubbed a move to Arsenal by revealing he is too young to move to north London.

The promising Ajax attacker, who is out of contract at the end of the year has been linked with a move to the Gunners.

But Eriksen, who is also a target of Arsenal's Champions League quarter final opponents Barcelona, is keen to stay in Holland.

The 18-year-old said: 'I'm too young to leave Ajax for a Europeangiant yet. I just made my official debut with Ajax and I still havemuch to learn here. I want to become a better player here and I amhappy with Ajax.'

Eriksen broke into the first-team earlierthis season and has impressed many onlookers in Holland includingArsenal legend Dennis Berkgamp.

Last month Bergkamp reportedly urged former boss ArseneWenger to sign the Danish under-17 international.

But Eriksen,who has made 11 appearances for Ajax this season added: 'I've also readthe rumours linking me with Arsenal and Barcelona, but that is all theyare: Rumors. People are free to write whatever they want, but I havenot been in touch with any of these clubs.'
