Agent: Nasri deal not yet done

Arsenal are yet to complete the signing of Samir Nasri, according to the France international's agent.

Nasri, 20, announced on Monday that he had agreed a four-year contract with the Gunners after sealing a reported £15.8million transfer from Marseille.

The highly-rated young forward has been a long-term transfer target of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

However the player's agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, has denied that a deal has been struck already despite reports that Nasri underwent a medical in London last week following France's elimination from Euro 2008.

"Discussions are continuing between the two clubs and the player," Bernes told AFP.

"Nothing has been finalised, no element of the transfer has been finalised and everybody is still talking. It is premature to announce anything at all."

Nasri made two substitute appearances for France, against Italy and Romania, at Euro 2008 as Les Bleus failed to progress from the group stage.
