Arsenal striker Em
ManUel Adebayor has revealed his admiration for fellow Premier League hot-shot Cristiano Ronaldo.
Adebayor and the Manchester United winger are both in the midst of a rich vein of goalscoring form and are the two main frontrunners to claim this year's Golden Boot award.
The pair are locked together on 19 goals at the top of the Premier League's scoring charts and Togo striker Adebayor has spoken of his admiration for his rival.
"He is a player I like to watch," he told the club's official website.
"He has a lot of quality and watching him is like watching something else - it is like playing on the PlayStation sometimes.
"He is an amazing footballer and I show him a lot of respect for what he has done this season.
"There are not a lot of players, especially midfielders, who can achieve what he has achieved."
However, Adebayor has admitted he hopes to edge out Ronaldo in the race to become this season's top-scorer.
"The Golden Boot is something I want to do as a footballer but the most important thing is that I want to achieve something as a team," he continued.
"At the end of the day, if I win the Golden Boot and the team does not win anything, I cannot see me enjoying myself - it would be better to win the title."
