Emmanuel Adebayor has urged his Arsenal team-mates to retain the belief that they can win silverware this season.
The Gunners have been made outsiders to win the Premier League title this season as they currently lie fifth in the table and six points adrift of leaders Manchester United.
Arsene Wenger's side have not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 2005, but Adebayor still believes this season can end on a high note if the squad maintains a positive mental attitude.
"The most important thing is that we keep on going and keep on believing in ourselves and thinking we can do something. That is the only way we can improve our football," said the Togo striker.
"If we didn't believe we could still win the title, we might as well just ask the boss if we could spend the season back home enjoying ourselves with our families.
"Last season we were ten points ahead of Manchester United and at the end of the day they won the title, so we will keep going until the end of the season and see what we can do.
"We are in a better position because everyone has forgotten about Arsenal.
"Arsenal are still alive and at the end of the season we will see what we can achieve."
