Adebayor celebration leads to City ban... for photographers

Emmanuel Adebayor escaped scot-free from his infamous goal celebration compared to the photographers who cover matches at Manchester City's Eastlands Stadium. While Adebayor only got a suspended sentence for sprinting the length of the pitch towards Arsenal fans, the snappers who caught the scene - and the angry reaction from Gunners supporters - have been told they can no longer position themselves there. Not surprisingly, they feel they have been made scapegoats. In defending Adebayor, City claimed stewards were prevented from getting to the scene quickly enough because photographers blocked access, albeit not deliberately. Now, no photographers will be allowed in that corner in front of away fans.
