Adebayor banned for three matches
LONDON (AFP) - Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor was Thursday banned for his club's next three matches as a result of a stamp on the face of Arsenal's Robin van Persie at the weekend.[LNB]Announcing the ruling, the Football Association said the ban would be applied immediately, ruling Adebayor out of Sunday's derby against Manchester United.
