Ade - Cesc could leave

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has claimed that Cesc Fabregas could leave Arsenal if they fail to make the UEFA Champions League group stages. Fabregas has been frequently linked with a move to Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent years, but Arsene Wenger insists there is no chance of the 22-year-old leaving this summer. However, Adebayor, who finally left Emirates Stadium this summer, feels the Spain star will consider his options if The Gunners cannot get through their upcoming Champions League qualifier. "I think it's possible they could lose Cesc if they don't get into the Champions League," he said in the Sunday Mirror. "Cesc is a very good player. I have played with Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, but I would go for Cesc as the best I have played with. "He has good vision and in one pass he can change the game. Since he was 16, he has enjoyed Arsenal, so for him it will be a blow if they are not in the Champions League. "If that happens, there is a chance that Cesc and the other big players will leave. "He's an intelligent person and, at the right moment, he will make the right decision." Arsenal face Celtic for a place in the group stages, with the first leg taking place at Celtic Park on Tuesday night.
