A sop to the media if you ask me, but despite my misgivings about the people running our club it's fair to assume that their intentions are good. We're going to have to wait and see how things pan out.
The signing of Podolski will no doubt have gone some way to convincing Robin that The Emirates is the place to play his football next season though.
The press are surprisingly quiet when it comes to linking him with all the usual suspects though - a refreshing change.
