Arsenal linked with Klass Jan Huntelaar

Klass Jan Huntelaar will be leaving the German side this Winter, according to fromer Holland striker Erik Meijer.

Meijer told Metro: “According to the information I have, Huntelaar will be gone in the winter, Arsenal FC are the favourites to land him.”

Meiejer claims his information is legit, explaining that he shares an agent with Huntelaar.

Schalke are desperate to keep their front man – however with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season, Schalke will demand money for their forward. With 40 goals in 67 games – he is currently one of the hottest strikers in Europe.

Schalke are believed to be willing to sell the Dutchman, but will accept nothing less than £10million for the forward.
