We've dug through the data to see what's worth watching out for in the midweek Premier League fixtures. We're expecting Arsenal to reassert themselves in style, a screamer at Anfield and a clash of styles at the Hawthorns.

Arsenal v Leicester

It's fair to say that Nigel Pearson hasn't had much to be cheerful about recently and things could be set to get a whole lot worse. Arsenal – in need of a response after a wounding defeat to Tottenham and with the irrepressible Alexis Sanchez set for a return to action – are the division's most formidable attacking force on home soil, having scored more goals and taken more shots than other side. This doesn’t bode well for Leicester, whose struggles in front of goal are amplified away from home where they’ve create fewer chances than everyone except Hull.

We think: There's no doubt that Pearson’s job hangs in the balance and a hefty defeat here could seal his fate once and for all.
