As they stand (points, goal difference)

Argentina – 6pts, +4

Korea Republic – 3 pts, -1

Greece – 3 pts, -1

Nigeria – 0 pts, -2

WHAT THEY NEED

ARGENTINA

A point will guarantee the South Americans top-spot in Group B, setting up a last 16 meeting with the runner-up from group A. An unlikely defeat for Diego Maradona's side would still see them go through as group winners unless Korea Republic or Greece win and overturn their inferior goal difference in the process. For example, Greece beat Argentina 4-0. If two teams are level on goal difference then the team that has scored the most goals go through. So far Argentina have scored five, Korea Republic three, Greece two and Nigeria one.

KOREA REPUBLIC

Will qualify for the last 16 if they better Greece's result and avoid defeat against Nigeria. They can still top the group if they beat Nigeria by enough for a six goal swing with Argentina. For example, they beat Nigeria 4-0 and Argentina lose to Greece 2-0.

GREECE

Will qualify for the last 16 if they pick up at least a point and better Korea Republic's result against Nigeria. They can still top the group if they beat Argentina by three or more goals.

NIGERIA

Must win to have any chance of finishing runner-up in the group. If Argentina beat Greece then three points will be enough to ensure second place and a last 16 game with the winners of Group A.
