Jim Weir has been appointed as the new manager of Scottish Football League Second Division side Arbroath.The Gayfield Park club had reduced the candidates to a shortlist of three. Clyde assistant John McCormack, Weir and caretaker Robbie Raeside were all vying to take over from John McGlashan, who resigned two weeks ago.
