Malcolm late show wins it for Arbroath

Stuart Malcolm's last-gasp header kept Arbroath hot on the heels of league leaders Cowdenbeath with a 1-0 win at Stirling.

Stirling started strongly but Arbroath's Steven Doris had the first real chance to open the scoring, dragging his strike wide from six yards.

In a frantic first half-hour, Stirling's Darren Smith and Scott Davieson both tried their luck from long range, the latter having his effort well saved by Darren Hill.

Josh Falkingham had a similar chance to Doris' in the second half, with a similar result as he missed the target with a scuffed shot.

Arbroath then poured forward as they looked to grab the three points and with a minute to go they got their reward, when Doris' cross found Malcolm, who stooped low to nod past Callum Reidford for a late winner.
