GOALS from Sean Jamieson and Scott McBride ensured the Methil side eased the pressure on themselves.

FIFER boss Billy Brown hailed his troops after they dumped Arbroath to move three points clear of the drop zone.

Sean Jamieson and Scott McBride struck either side of Paul Currie’s strike for the Lichties to seal a comfortable victory for the Methil men.

Brown said: “We could have been four or five up at the break and I was really happy with our desire out there.”

Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin said: “I can see signs of improvement in us".
