Keep grafting - Sheern

Need to push on
From the Sunday Mail: PAUL SHEERIN has urged his Arbroath aces to keep grafting after a third win on the trot kept them within two points of table-toppers Cowden.
Two goals in either half were enough to seal all three points and leave Forfar just two points clear of basement boys Stirling Albion having played a match more.
Now Arbroath player/manager Sheerin expects his title challengers to push on in the final third of the season. (ed note - it's a longer run-in than that)
He said: "We were excellent in the first half. I am delighted with the four goals and the result. It was maybe against the run of play when we made it 3-0 but we were always in control. Our front three were excellent.
"The goals we gave away were disappointing but we still scored two in the second half when we didn't have so much of the play.
"This is a good one to win - Forfar is a hard place to come to but we just need to keep plugging away and try to stay in touch with Cowdenbeath."
Arbroath declared their intentions right from the off as Collin Samuel forced Marc McCallum into a block inside 30 seconds.
McCallum came to the rescue once again to tip over a Steven Doris volley before Stuart Malcolm's header bounced awkwardly in front of Greg Ross, rolled up his body and fell over the line for an Arbroath opener.
Samuel squandered a one-on-one with the Athletic stopper but made amends five minutes from the interval with a low drive.
And Arbroath put the game beyond doubt 16 minutes from time when sub Lee Sibanda rifled a rebound into the roof of the net.
Martyn Fotheringham pulled one back 10 minutes from the end but Sheerin rolled a fourth between the legs of McCallum before Fotheringham netted a second consolation.
Frustrated Forfar boss Dick Campbell said: "All credit to Arbroath, they were the better side. But the first two goals were the softest I have seen all season."
