PAUL SHEERIN hopes loan star Lee Erwin can give Arbroath some New Year cheer in their promotion charge.
Motherwell man Erwin netted a clinching third for the Red Lichties against Forfar. And Sheerin said: “I’d prefer to have Lee until January as he has been top drawer.”
Alan Cook steered in the home side’s opener before Lee Sibanda headed the second. Erwin drilled in No.3 with the Loons’ misery complete by Gavin Swankie’s late red card.
