Arbroath boosted their survival hopes in the Second Division with an away victory over Brechin City.The visitors took a first-minute lead when Steven Doris crossed for Steven Hislop to fire into the top corner. Goalkeeper Darren Hill denied Brechin a leveller with a save from Charlie' King's free-kick. Doris crossed for Robert Ross to finish on 31 minutes and double Arbroath's lead and Hill saved well from Mark Cowan after the break.
