Alan Rattray's early goal was enough to give Arbroath a victory over Brechin.The defender's contribution was a rare highlight at Gayfield, as the two Second Division sides cancelled each other out for most of the contest. The goal came after 14 minutes when Rattray met Keith Gibson's centre to head home from 12 yards.
