Victoria may face old employers

Ex-Queen's Park striker Joao Victoria could be a trialist for Arbroath when his former side visits Gayfield.

However, Mark Whatley is unlikely to be risked despite featuring in a bounce game in midweek following a knee injury.

Lewis Coult is a doubt, with manager Todd Lumsden planning changes after defeats from Elgin and Montrose.

Lumsden said: "The players that started the season did so as they had performed well in pre-season. They had the chance to hang on to a starting jersey, however not enough has been done for me not to consider changes. I watched Queen's Park defeat Dumbarton in midweek and we are facing a strong team."

Queen's Park have added Chris Duggan on loan from Partick Thistle for a second season running.

Gavin Mitchell (ankle) and Tony Quinn (hip) have been ruled out, though, and Ciaran McElroy is a major doubt.

Head coach Gus MacPherson said: "I am delighted to bring Chris back. He showed in his spell last year that he is a good player and I am looking forward to working with him again.

"Facing Arbroath is always tough and this will be no different. We showed on Tuesday that when we work and compete hard that we can get very good results. We will need a similar level of endeavour to defeat Arbroath."
