Injury-hit Arbroath bid to bounce back in derby clash

Arbroath have Kieran McWalter back from illness as they prepare to face Montrose in their Angus derby clash at Gayfield.

Boss Tom Lumsden is without Jamie Reid and Kane Hester due to ankle injuries while Sergio Alvarez and Andy Ryan are also doubts as the Red Lichties look to reverse their earlier 3-0 defeat at Links Park.

Lumsden said: "That was a really disappointing day as we simply never turned up. Montrose worked harder and we got the result that we deserved.

"We have to go about restoring some local pride by winning this game even though we could be light on numbers."

Montrose miss Greg Pascazio for the second game running through suspension while Matt Allan (hand) and Paul Watson (stomach) are also still out.

Montrose boss Paul Hegarty said: "Our win over Arbroath was a great day for us - however it does not count for anything now.

"They are playing well now and we will need to play really well to bring something back We beat an excellent Queen's Park side in our last game and now we must look to take a similar level of performance to Gayfield."
