Hunter returns for leaders

League Two leaders Arbroath welcome back Adam Hunter for the visit of Elgin.

The defender is back after work commitments for the Gayfield men but Jordan Lowdon continues to be missing with a thigh strain. Jack Smith is also out with a dislocated elbow.

Assistant manager Todd Lumsden said: "We did really well to defeat Clyde last week after the disappointment of losing to East Fife the week before. Some of our play was really good and we need to hit those same levels again.

"Elgin have some very experienced players and they are coming to our place after a couple of disappointments so they will do everything they can to win."

Elgin head for Gayfield without the injured Jamie Duff (knee) and Ali McKenzie (knee) with the Borough Briggs men looking to put consecutive defeats behind them

Manager Barry Wilson said: "I am disappointed with our results against Queen's Park and Montrose as we deserved better from them. However if you do not take your chances then you can pay a heavy price."
