Arbroath eye return to winning ways

Arbroath miss Jamie Henry against visitors East Stirling after the on-loan Aberdeen midfielder was sent off during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Queen's Park.

Craig Watson misses out with a knee injury picked up in the same game with Craig Johnstone (knee) and Greg Rutherford (hamstring) also absent.

Manager Todd Lumsden said: "After a good run it is disappointing to pick up only one point from the last nine. We made a mistake early against Queen's Park and were not able to get a goal back to make up for it.

"Hopefully we can get some goals and return to winning ways against an East Stirling side that are always tricky."

The Shire are again without the injured defender Ross Gilmour (foot), and forwards Michael Wallace (foot) and Billy Vidler (knee) as they look for the win that could lift them off bottom spot in the table.

Head coach Craig Tully said: "Our game with Annan at the weekend was really tight but unfortunately we lost 1-0.

"After a disappointing run we have shown in our last three games that we can compete with anyone in this league and we will look to build on that against Arbroath.

"We have had two good games against them this season and the gap between the teams is not as wide as their 4-0 and 3-0 wins would suggest."
