Defensive duo back for Arbroath

Arbroath look set to include fit-again centre-backs Kevin Nicoll and Scott McBride against East Stirling.

Manager Allan Moore hopes his side can end an eight-game run without a win which has seen his side slip to eighth place in Scottish League Two.

The Red Lichties came back from three goals down to draw with Elgin at the weekend, however even that revival will not stop Moore making changes.

He said: "It was great that the players showed some spirit though we lost bad goals as players did not do what they were asked to.

"East Stirling are in good form so we have to be back at our best to win."

The Shire will be without the injured Nathan Shepherd (knee) and Luke Donnelly (hip) with Michael Wallace doubtful.

Head coach Craig Tully hopes to add Adam Ashgar on loan from Alloa before kick-off at Gayfield.

Tully said: "Our 3-1 win over Queen's Park was our best 90 minutes of the season. Kevin Nisbet came in from Partick Thistle and had a great debut with two goals and it would be great if Adam did something similar.

"It was no surprise to me that Arbroath rallied from three goals down on Saturday as they showed that spirit to come from behind and win at our place in our last meeting."
