Arbroath aiming to stop rot

League Two leaders Arbroath look to end a three-game run without a win by seeing off East Fife.

The Gayfield side have added Liam Gordon from Hearts on loan and the Tynecastle youngster looks set to start as Kevin Nicoll (groin), Scott McBride (foot) and Craig Johnstone (ankle) will all miss out.

Manager Allan Moore said: "We are still top of the league but are not winning games now as players who were tremendous in the first half of the season are missing chances.

"I am sure that they will return to goalscoring and hopefully they will do that against an East Fife side that have strengthened recently."

East Fife include Sean Dickson after the midfielder moved over from Stenhousemuir.

However, Ewan Moyes and Ross Campbell have left the club for Montrose.

Fraser Mullen misses out with a ban with the long-term injured Cyrus Moosavi still missing after knee surgery.

Player-manager Gary Naysmith said: "I am pleased that we were able to recruit Sean as he will give us an attacking thrust. I believe that the squad now is stronger than it was in the first half of the season and we can go to Arbroath with confidence.

"They beat us 5-1 last month but that game changed when we had a player sent off."
