Watson could debut for Arbroath after trio exit Gayfield

Arbroath manager Todd Lumsden includes new loan recruit from Hamilton, Craig Watson, but are without Graham Hay and Lewis Coult after the pair left Gayfield this week.

Lumsden has no injury worries to contend with as he looks to guide his side to their first win of the season.

He said: "Our last two performances have been a lot better than the two that opened our season. We are scoring good goals and showing a bit of character however we are still conceding soft goals.

"If we can cut that out we have a chance against a Clyde side that have good experienced players in their squad."

Clyde added Stirling midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern to their pool during the week and he is set to face the Red Lichties.

However injured duo Mark McLaughlin (side) and Scott Durie (ankle) will miss the trip as Clyde look to build on their second win of the season.

Manager Barry Ferguson said: "We started really well against East Stirling last Saturday however we never got the goal we deserved. The players stayed in control of things and eventually we made the breakthrough in the second half and went on to win 3-1.

"That was great after a couple of disappointing results and now we can travel to Arbroath, for what will be a really tough game, with increased confidence."
