Bullock to start for Red Lichties

Arbroath will have Tony Bullock in goal as Scott Morrison remains out with a finger injury as they look for the win over Alloa that will take them into the play-offs for a second year running.

Brian Kerr is a long-term injury absentee with a knee problem and the Red Lichties will give fitness tests to Mark Baxter, Lee Sibanda and Steven Doris ahead of kick off as player/ manager Paul Sheerin looks to have as strong a starting XI as possible.

Sheerin said: "We need to play well as we have really tough opponents in Alloa. However we know that if we win we make the play-offs and that has been our objective all season.

"We have won twice on Alloa's patch and now would be a good time to defeat them at ours."

Alloa, who are assured of second place, have a doubt over goalkeeper Scott Bain's participation due to a knee injury and the shotstopper will need to pass a fitness test before being included.

The Wasps' manager Paul Hartley has again added teenagers Chad Meechan, Lee McLelland, Michael Hardie and Scott Hynd to his squad as Ben Gordon, Jason Marr, Callum Elliot, Stephen Simmons and Kevin Moon are all less than 100 per cent fit and may be rested ahead of the play-offs against Brechin.

Hartley said: "Whatever side I put out will be going all out for the win. We were on unfamiliar lines against Albion Rovers last week and still won 4-1 so I have no concerns.

"We can play without any pressure on us whereas Arbroath have a lot on them."
