Arbroath duo out

Arbroath will be without the injured Liam Gordon and Adam Hunter when they host leaders Albion Rovers.

Gordon has a hamstring problem and Hunter is out with an ankle injury.

The Gayfield side go into the game with the boost of having won for the first time in 2015 when they defeated Clyde 3-1 on Saturday and manager Allan Moore is looking to make it a double.

Moore said: "This is a big week for us and it got off to a great start by winning on Saturday, and it would be terrific if we can get six points from six.

"If we can win we are back to within two points and matters are in our hands."

Rovers are sweating over the fitness of defender Alan Reid who picked up a knee injury in Saturday's 3-0 win over Montrose.

Everyone else is available to player-manager Darren Young who recognises the importance of the game.

Young said: "It will be difficult game to win as Arbroath will take a huge lift from winning at the weekend. Winning would moves us further away from them, however League Two is fiercely competitive.

"As a result we cannot assume that our win means anything as we have eight tough games to come."
