Annan climb into top spot after a Little help from hosts Arbroath
Annan moved top of Scottish League Two following a deserved 2-0 victory at Arbroath.
Peter Weatherson took advantage of early pressure from the visitors with an impressive right-footed finish from outside the penalty area to give his side the lead in the 11th minute.
Annan, who were largely the stronger side throughout, went 2-0 ahead in the 23rd minute when Arbroath's Ricky Little scored an own goal amid further pressure from a corner.
Arbroath sit eighth in the table and from a nine games have a total of 10 points, keeping them four clear of the relegation zone.
