Stranraer 2-2 Annan Athletic: Report

Moore saves leaders Stranraer Stranraer stayed top of Scottish Division Three after battling back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Annan. Annan dominated the game from the outset and Bryan Gilfillan headed wide from close range before David Cox forced Stranraer goalkeeper David Mitchell into a fine save. The visitors deservedly went in front a minute before the break when Sean O'Connor made no mistake from six yards. Three minutes after the restart Aaron Muirhead's cross found Ian Harty who finished from close range to double Annan's lead. However Stranraer battled back and with 14 minutes remaining Michael Moore crossed for Sean Winter who fired in a left-foot strike to reduce the arrears. The comeback was complete six minutes later when Moore struck a precise shot past Jamieson to earn a point for Stranraer.
