Double boost for Annan

Steven Swinglehurst and David Murray will return to the Annan squad that takes on Stirling Albion at Galabank.

Both players come back into the reckoning following injury after coming through a reserve-team game unscathed this week.

However, Graeme Ramage continues to be absent following knee surgery.

Annan will look to win a third game in a row and manager Jim Chapman is glad to see things falling into place following his appointment in January.

"We are clicking together more and more in every game," said Chapman.

"We have been playing at a good standard for a few games now but it is good to add wins to that as they build confidence.

"Stirling have had a really good second half of the season and will want it to end on a high so we need to click together again."

David McClune will miss out for Stirling.

McClune will serve a one-match ban as the visitors look to climb above their opponents with a first win in four games.

Player/manager Greig McDonald remains out after knee surgery and the Forthbank side have included Jamie Clark as knee injuries also rule out Brian Allison and Ross Forsyth, while Jamie Bishop will be absent due to work commitments.

McDonald said: "We are a bit short of bodies defensively but you just have to get on with these things.

"We want to finish a season that began slowly on a high and as high up the table as possible. Some of our players are also playing for contracts.

"Annan are showing signs that things are turning under Jim Chapman so they will be very tough opponents."
