Annan duo face late check Annan will check on John MacBeth and Ian Harty ahead of the clash with Queens Park. Left-sided defender MacBeth is struggling with a calf problem and striker Harty has a hamstring injury but manager Harry Cairney is hopeful both will be available. Cairney said: "Queens Park have won their last two games and this league is so open they will fancy their chances of building on that and shooting up the table. "They have developed a resilient streak and we may have to scrap for the three points." Queens Park's preparations for the took a blow when defender Jamie Brough picked up an ankle injury at training. Brough has been ruled out along with the versatile Tony Quinn and strikers Graeme Eaglesham and Craig Smith, but Jamie Longworth could return after a groin problem. Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs said: "We have given ourselves the chance of an exciting end to the season and a win at Annan would really start to build some momentum. "I watched Annan in midweek and they are a good side."
