Swinglehurst worry for Annan

Annan defender Stephen Swinglehurst is a doubt for the visit of Queen's Park after picking up a groin injury in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Elgin.

Peter Watson is in line for his first start of 2013 should Swinglehurst fail to make it, with the Galabank side also missing David Murray with a calf problem and Graeme Ramage who is out for several months after knee surgery.

The Black and Golds' boss Jim Chapman is looking forward to an attractive game of football, however he does not want his men standing back and admiring.

"Queen's play some of the best passing football in this Division," he said. "We want to play like that as well so we have to ensure that we get into our rhythm first."

Second-placed Queen's Park will again be without defender Jamie Brough through a foot injury as they look to edge even closer to a play-off place against Annan.

Giuseppe Capuano is out because of work commitments, however Allan Urquhart could return to head coach Gardner Speirs' squad after recovering from a knee problem.

The Hampden side are looking for a first win in five games, but Speirs is not panicking saying: "Apart from the 2-0 defeat at Berwick I have been pleased with how we have played and that includes the 4-1 defeat from Rangers on Sunday.

"We have seen our lead in second place reduce so our aim is to play well again and get the win that moves us closer to ensuring we are in the play-offs."
