Breslin and Gilfillan miss out as Annan bid to climb into play-off places
Annan will be without injured pair Jack Breslin and Bryan Gilfillan as they look to give their play-off hopes another boost by seeing off Berwick at Galabank.
Breslin has a foot injury and Gilfillan is struggling with a calf strain, while Jim Chapman's side excelled in midweek when they defeated Queen's Park 3-1 to move to within a point of the play-off zone.
Chapman said: "There is no margin for error now and we have to look to win every game.
"Having won three games in a row Berwick are on a roll so we have to play as well as we did on Tuesday night to get the three points."
Berwick will be without the suspended Brian Martin and Allan Walker has a back injury, but on-loan striker Sandy Cunningham is available after missing out against his parent club Stirling Albion last weekend.
Manager John Coughlin said: "We are looking a lot stronger defensively and keeping four consecutive clean sheets has been the platform to climb the table.
"We could do with some improvement up front as we are still missing chances at an alarming rate.
"We are still a couple of wins away from safety. It would be great to get one of those wins at Annan, but we will need to play well to do that."
