Peter Weatherson completes ban as Annan welcome Berwick
Table-toppers Annan host Berwick without suspended striker Peter Weatherson as he complete a two-match ban.
Bryan Gilfillan also misses out once more due to a gashed leg, with on-loan Motherwell defender David Ferguson a doubt after picking up a knock in the 3-2 defeat from Elgin last weekend.
Manager Jim Chapman said: "We defeated Berwick last month in the Scottish Cup, however that game means nothing now as their players will be going all out to impress a new manager.
"We know how we lost to Elgin last weekend and we know how to fix what went wrong so I am looking forward to this game."
New Berwick boss John Coughlin will be without Dwayne Coultress (leg) and Kieran Ainslie, who has work commitments.
Coughlin will take charge of the Borderers for the first time since returning for a second spell at the helm.
Coughlin said: "Away from home to the league leaders is the toughest possible start. I watched the 2-1 defeat from Stirling last weekend and I have seen the boys for a few hours at training this week.
"That was not enough to decide upon on a whole lot of personnel changes so we will be on usual lines. There are a couple of things I felt that we could be doing better and hopefully they will be put into practice."
