Gibson at the double in big win A brace from defender Scott Gibson helped Annan overturn a two-goal deficit to beat Queens Park 5-2. Queens grabbed the lead after 18 minutes when Craig Smith fired home from close range. Smith doubled his tally nine minutes later with a rasping 20-yard drive. But Annan hit back just after the half hour when David Cox collected Chris Jardine's cross and drilled the ball into the top corner. They were level on the stroke of half-time when Graeme Bell powered the ball into the top corner from the edge of the area. Gibson put Annan in front after 59 minutes when he planted his header into the top corner. They extended their lead three minutes later when Steven Sloan swept home Ian Harty's cross. Annan scored their third in the space of six second-half minutes when Gibson slotted the ball home from 12 yards.
