Annan close gap on leaders
Second-placed Annan Athletic beat leaders Peterhead 2-1 to move eight points behind their opponents.
The visitors opened the scoring through Rory McAllister's free-kick, his 24th goal of the season, before Annan's Ally Love had his penalty saved by Graeme Smith after 22 minutes.
Annan came out of the blocks quickly in the second half. Andrew Mitchell's free-kick levelled matters and they were ahead on 55 minutes when Love scored his eighth of the campaign with a neat finish inside the box.
As the game entered its final minutes, Ross Smith was shown a straight red for a nasty challenge, all but ending Peterhead's hopes of a late goal.
