Blues stage comeback

Stranraer recovered from an early goal as they dented Annan's play-off hopes in a 3-1 win at Galabank.

The hosts got off to a flying start when Steve Swinglehurst rose highest to head home David Cox's cross after just four minutes.

But the Blues were level nine minutes later when Christopher Aitken netted from the spot after Michael McGowan felled Martin Grehan.

The visitors took the lead on the stroke of half-time when Frank McKeown was on hand to fire in from Aitken's corner.

Craig Malcolm ensured victory three minutes from time when he collected Sean Winter's pass to finish inside the area.

Victory keeps Keith Knox's side in pole position for the play-offs but the Black and Golds are still six points adrift.
