Tomer Hemed charged with violent conduct by Football Association

Brighton striker Tomer Hemed has been charged with violent conduct, the Football Association has announced.Hemed fired the winner in Brighton’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Newcastle on Sunday but he was involved in an 88th-minute tangle with Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin.An FA statement read: “Tomer Hemed has been charged for an alleged act of violent conduct which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.
