Altrincham suffer skipper setback

Altrincham skipper Tom Kearney suffered a broken leg during Tuesday's 1-1 draw at former club Wrexham.The 28-year-old midfielder was brought off on a stretcher after a challenge by Frank Sinclair which saw the former Chelsea defender sent off. Robins boss Graham Heathcote said: "Our players were gone at half-time, knowing that Tom had broken his leg. "It is to their great credit that they performed so well and we were well worth a point." .... read more
