Two first-half goals helped third-place Alloa overcome Stenhousemuir and close the gap on Stirling and Cowdenbeath in the Second Division.Brown Ferguson drilled home the opener on the quarter-hour mark after being found by Chris Townsley's header. And debutant Bryan Prunty slotted past goalkeeper Chris McCluskey to extend the Wasps' advantage 10 minutes later.
