Alloa boss secures manager award

Alloa's Allan Maitland has been named the Irn-Bru Phenomenal Second Division manager of the month for December.Maitland guided the Wasps to three wins and a draw during December, in a run that has seen the club climb to third in the Second Division table. A 2-2 draw with Arbroath was followed by an away win over East Fife and home victories over Cowdenbeath and Brechin.
