Forfar 1-1 Alloa: Report

15 February 2011 22:09
Lister leaves it late James Lister snatched a late equaliser to secure Alloa a deserved 1-1 draw against play-off rivals Forfar. Ross Campbell's 71st-minute penalty looked to have won the game for the Loons before Lister latched on to Michael McGowan's pass to score from 12 yards. Alloa dominated the first half but missed numerous chances, with Bryan Prunty shooting over from six yards after Kevin Motion's shot was saved by Forfar goalkeeper Scott Gallacher before Stuart Noble missed with a close-range header after 29 minutes. The home side were better after half-time and after Greg Ross's 20-yard free-kick came back off a post they took the lead through Campbell's spot-kick after Scott Walker's handball. That looked to be enough before Lister's late strike.
