Alloa enjoying life on the road

Alloa made it back-to-back away league wins with a 3-1 victory at Brechin.

The Wasps had failed to win any of their last eight games at Glebe Park and almost fell behind after 30 seconds but Ian Murray's header was kept out by Scott Bain in the Alloa goal.

The Hedgemen were able to take the lead six minutes into the second half when in-form striker Andrew Jackson was on hand to notch his sixth goal of the season from 12 yards.

Robert Thomson found the top corner with a drilled effort from the edge of the area to level the scores after 65 minutes.

Paul Hartley's men were ahead nine minutes later thanks to Kevin Cawley's emphatic 18-yard finish.

Jim Weir's side were unbeaten in the previous six meetings between the sides, but Martin Grehan tucked away Ross McCord's assist to score the visitors' third of the afternoon two minutes from time and secure all three points.
