French rookie set for Wasps bow Alloa include 16-year-old French striker Noel Makambo in their ranks for the first time as they look to return to winning ways by seeing off visitors Stranraer. Midfielder Ryan McCord is manager Paul Hartley's only doubt as he has been suffering from a virus all week, with Makambo being drafted in after outstanding displays in the Wasps' youth side. Hartley said: "We were very flat when we lost to Stenhousemuir last weekend, which is not like us at all, and Noel may well just give us something a bit different as we look to pick up a three point haul again. "We need to put that poor performance behind us although we know from our days in the Third Division how resolute Stranraer can be." Stranraer have striker Michael Moore available following an Achilles injury and he will be let loose at some stage of the game at Recreation Park. Defender David MacGregor continues to be absent due to a knee problem as the Blues look for their first away points of the season. Manager Keith Knox said: "We have been doing well at home where a pressing style has helped us to a win and a couple of draws. We need to take that on our travels now. "We know Alloa well from last season in the Third Division and I remember that we cannot afford to sit back and let them pass the ball around. They will really hurt us if they do that."
