Lennon without Docherty

Alloa are without the suspended Mark Docherty as well as the injured Jason Marr (hamstring) and Stephen Simmons (back) as they look for the win that will move them into eighth place.

Recently appointed manager Danny Lennon saw his Wasps win 3-0 against Dumbarton in his first game in charge last weekend and he said: "I was delighted with the performance and the result however there are still improvements that can be made.

"Our season is all about finishing at the top of the mini-league involving ourselves, Cowdenbeath and Livingston and another three points would be a great help in doing that.

"Our fate is in our own hands."

Queen of the South will miss the injured Paul Burns (hip) and Ian McShane (hamstring) with Lewis Kidd rated as a doubt as they look for the win that will secure them a play-off place.

Manager James Fowler said: "I watched Alloa last weekend when they defeated Dumbarton and I was impressed. We are going there in good form after our wins over Hibs, Rangers and Falkirk, where we have not conceded a goal, but we cannot take anything for granted.

"We want the three points to extend our season however Alloa want them just as much as they are looking to avoid relegation issues."
